Bucher Foodtech - fruit juice production
High quality products and services have positioned Bucher Foodtech as the market leader in fruit juice processing equipment, especially for producing apple, pear and berry juices. Bucher's fruit reception lines are designed to satisfy the most rigorous standards of hygiene in cleaning the raw material. Then highly sophisticated mills ensure optimised mash preparation. Featuring a unique drainage system, the Bucher HPXi hydraulic press with a self-optimising control system gives a maximum yield of top quality juices with very low sediment content. Equipped with tubular membranes, Bucher's ULTRASTAR and CONTISTAR cross-flow membrane filtration systems produce clear and stable juices. Adsorption and ion exchange systems allow further purification of liquid foods, while our multistage vacuum evaporators come with an integrated aroma recovery unit. To assure outstanding ease and reliability of operation, we also provide an electronic monitoring and control system. And to round off the range of hightech products, we offer comprehensive engineering services, installation supervision, commissioning support and operator training.

Bucher Vaslin - grape and wine processing
A passion for grapes and wine, coupled with decades of experience, has made Bucher Vaslin the world's leading manufacturer of premium quality equipment for wine making. Bucher's DELTA destemmer prevents the grapes from bursting or being damaged, avoiding contamination with undesirable flavours. Controlled by intelligent, self-optimising software, the Bucher tank press can be flexibly adapted to different grape varieties and qualities to produce superior grape must. Bucher VINIMATIC fermentation vessels increase control over the wine quality, ensuring maximum extraction of flavour, colour and tannins. Fully automatic Bucher CLIMAT chillers maintain the best temperatures for vinification of both white and red grapes. Bucher Vaslin cross-flow filters are a byword for perfectly clear still wines and stable sparkling wines, maintaining all the properties and characteristics of traditional wines. Using reverse osmosis technology, Bucher OSMOTOP concentrators promote enrichment of the grape must and retain the specific character of the terroir. And finally, the Bucher JLB automated vertical basket press has been enhanced to give a higher yield, increasing the return on investment for quality wine producers. Local field service is provided by our global network of distributors, trained and supported by Bucher Vaslin technicians, to assure 24-hour service worldwide.

Bucher Drytech - heat-sensitive product drying
The large installed base of drying systems in the food industry has earned Bucher Drytech recognition as the world's leading expert in vacuum drying technology. Highly specialised vacuum drying systems allow products to be dried gently to retain their original flavour. A versatile vacuum drying cabinet is designed for processing a variety of products using a wide range of temperatures and vacuum conditions. Zeodration vacuum systems ensure high flavour retention during drying of fresh and frozen products.

Bucher Drytech - Sludge dewatering
A Bucher press, similar to that used for extracting fruit juice, also lends itself to dewatering sewage sludge. Achieving a dry matter content of more than 35%, an improvement of several percentage points over conventional processes, this allows sewage sludge to be incinerated without any additional heat treatment. As is the tradition at Bucher Process, Bucher Drytech also offers a comprehensive range of services to support customers.
